FULL SERVICE SUBMISSION

We will work with you all the way from either the pre-production/script writing stage or the production/post-production stage advising as to what rating your film will likely receive, and if not what you had in mind, what changes are needed to get it there. We will do everything for you including script/film review and assessment (including detailed edit notes if necessary), scheduling of the MPAA screening, completion of all paperwork and certificates, pre-consultation with the MPAA senior raters, coordination of the delivery of the film to the MPAA, discussion and negotiation with the senior raters and/or MPAA chairman, acceptance of your rating, and delivery of the final rating certificate and certificate number. Basically you just answer some questions, show us the film and we'll do the rest.

SUBMISSION ONLY

We will schedule the screening, do all the paperwork and then receive your rating from the MPAA after the screening. This is the best choice for producers who either already know what rating they will receive, or receiving a certain rating is not an issue.

PAPERWORK ONLY

We will go over what paperwork you will need to submit and answer any questions you may have about the submission process.

POTENTIAL RATING EVALUATION

We will review your film and let you know what rating you are likely to receive if the film were submitted to the MPAA. We will make detailed notes outlining the reasons that this specific rating is likely, and make cut suggestions in case you have another rating in mind.

SCRIPT REVIEW

Great for aspiring screenwriters or development professionals looking to determine the potencial rating of a piece of work before you begin production.

SCENE REVIEW

If you have a certain scene in your film that you feel may be an issue, we will review the scene and let you know where you stand.

APPEALS REPRESENTATION

Should you submit your film the the MPAA and receive an unfavorable rating, we will work with you on every step of the appeals process to try to overturn the rating without making additional cuts.

NOTE: Charges for services by Motion Picture Consulting are independent from the 'rating fee' changed by the MPAA for every submission which can range from $500 - $15,000 depending on the film's budget and/or your company's yearly distribution revenue.
